Life change in a split second – quicker than you sneeze.
We must have our soul prepared for eternity all the time.
We may not understand the “why’s” of our trial, yet we can choose the “what’s” of our futures. What can we gain, What can we expect from God, What’s our next move with God’s help. The whys in life often end at a dead end street. The what’s in life keep us moving forward.
Even though we may not receive everything we have asked God to give us, we can still be happy and at peace by trusting Him.
So many things now are out of our control. When God’s in control, it gonna be okay!
God does not sit on anyone’s couch for counsel as to what he allows to come our way.
Without the prayers and support of brothers and sisters in Christ, life would be much harder or even not at all both either one of us. Back in ’74, there were no cat scans or coils to reenforce aneurysm, Usually the end was death! Vikki coded twice, once in the car, and once in the chopper to Des Moines. She was not really awake for close to 3 weeks. Our thoughts, she may not make it through this alive or ever get back to life.
God is our redeemer, sustainer, healer, provider, friend, and promise keeper.
It’s God’s promises we lean on daily for strength, focus, encouragement, inspiration, and purpose.
Supporting each other is part of keeping our voiws we made to each other 54 years ago this coming May 1st. They had no expiration date!
, I have a coping with crisis talk, “Accepting, adjusting, and going on”. If we get stuck on any of those three hurdles, life is very hard and sometimes impossible to continue with any amount of peace.
One of my favorite bible verses is Psalms 68:19 “Praise be to God our Svior who daily bears our burdens”.
GOD IS GOOD!
Taking a long look at life’s circumstances gives direction, purpose, and lasting satisfaction. Thus relief!
